Looks like I'm heading to Pennsylvania tomorrow morning to help out with the Kerry campaign. My boss has family working outside of Philly and they say they still need help. Lately I've been feeling like I haven't done enough to evict the squatter in the whitehouse, so I guess it's time to put my money where my rant is.
The plan is to get up and out of the house by 5:30am, be at my local polling location before they open at 6am, vote, then immediately head north. I have an address, directions, a GPS and a phone number. I also plan on bringing along my camera and laptop to play amature journalist, if I get the opportunity.
Hopefully they will have something for me to do when I get there (as I haven't been able to get in touch with my contact up there). The early word was that they may need drivers to take people to polling locations, or possibly a tech/computer guy to help out doing techy-computer-y guy stuff. Either way, I'm there.
(Subtile, aren't I?)
